VAN HOOL SIGNED A LEASE CONTRACT FOR A PARCEL IN TIDZ SKOPJE 2
On June 27th, 2012 the Belgian company Van Hool NV and the CEO of the Directorate for Technological Industrial Development Zones, Victor Mizo officially signed a lease contract for a 11.7 hectares parcel in TIDZ Skopje 2. Van Hool will enter the Macedonian market with an investment of EUR 20 million, while creating new job openings for approximately 500 workers. Van Hool’s Greenfield investment will entail the construction of a manufacturing plant for high quality buses and coaches, an assembly and an after sales activity sector.
Van Hool represents the largest bus manufacturing company in Europe with an overall production of 4,000 commercial buses and coaches annually, all designed and produced according to a modular concept.
