Today the second edition of the Macedonia Manufacturing Expo 2018 took place at Aleksandar Palace Hotel. The event is organized by the Macedonian Association of Metal and Electrical Industry (MAMEI) and AHK, and is supported by the USAID Business Ecosystem Project, the Embassy of the Kingdom of The Netherlands, Preda+, Macedonia Free Zones, Invest in Macedonia, and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Macedonia.

Macedonia Manufacturing Expo 2018 is Macedonia’s premier business-to-business matchmaking event for the light manufacturing industry. The event aims to bring together foreign and domestic buyers with local suppliers through pre-matched, targeted B2B meetings that pave the way for future partnerships and more efficient supply chains.

The Expo promotes Macedonia’s light manufacturing industry potential, while providing investors with an overview of the sector’s supply chains. The event is an ideal venue for international companies benefiting from partnerships in Macedonia to voice their experience. Most importantly, it is an excellent opportunity for meeting potential partners via targeted B2B meetings, set up in advance and in line with buyers’ interests and requirements. Event organizers aim to match the needs of at least 15 international buyers with roughly 50 of Macedonia’s suppliers of machine parts, tools and molds, hydraulics, die casts, metal structures, composite materials and more.

CEO of Macedonia’s Free Zones, Aleksandar Mladenovski, took part in a panel discussion, Doing Business in Macedonia: Investment Supporting Measures in Macedonia, and presented the investment incentives and business climate that a potential investor can expect.
