Key Safety Systems Commences Production in Kicevo Free Zone

American company “Key Safety Systems” (KSS) started its production at the plant in the Free Zone Kicevo. The new production facility will annually produce three million airbags for cars and it is expected an annual export of EUR 70 million. The total investment of KSS in the amount of EUR 15 million should open a total of 1,000 jobs.

The US company, which started production as brownfield investment in Kicevo center, after the initial 20 employees, currently has 230 contracted workers.

The management of the company, at the opening, announced 700 jobs until the end of the year and thousand jobs by the end of next.
