DTIRZ delegation visiting Malaysia
From 25.march-27.mach.2013 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is happening the second Global Fair and Summit for Free Economy Zones. This international event is attended by 450 delegations and exposures from Asia, Europe, USA and Africa. It is focused on the strategic and sustainable development in the field of free international trade and developing the special economy zones in the world. Participants on this event are delegates from one of the most developed special economy zones in the world such as, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, India, Oman, South Korea and high representatives from World Bank, PWC, Site Selection, FDI Intelligence, and many representatives from the other consulting houses, and renowned journalists who are working in investment sector. CEO of Directorate for Technological Industrial Development Zones, Mr. Viktor Mizo with delegation from DTIDZ, participates on this Event, and by direct and separate meetings presented the Technological Industrial development Zones in Macedonia. Beside presenting the opportunities of direct investing in free economy zones in Macedonia there were discussions with private operators of the zones from India, UAE, Korea and Malaysia, as potential partners for development and managing some of the zones in Macedonia. Few of them expressed interest to visit Macedonia and to see the opportunities of the zones for the purpose of spreading their business and operating work in Europe. As part of the Summit DTIDZ Delegation will visit the Special economy zone Iskandar Malaysia in which the Malaysian Government invested more than two billion USD until now which is the biggest investment project in the region. This summit for economical zones presents a valuable opportunity for introducing the leading international investors and manufactures with global investment destination, also with governments and government institutions which are operating and managing this zones.
