Turkish company to build wiring harness plant in Free Zone Skopje 2

Turkish company Murat Ticaret will invest initially EUR 6.6 million to build a wire production plant covering 18,000 square meters at the Free Zone Skopje 2.

The company which specializes in electrical wiring harness manufacturing for the automotive industry, plans to open jobs for 300 people in the first stage. Its products will be imported to the European market.

A contract to invest at the Free Zone Skopje 2 was signed by Aleksandar Mladenovski, CEO of the Free Zones Authority, and Eyup Gulsoy, General Manager of Murat Ticaret. Construction works are expected to begin in two months time, and the plant is planned to be built by the end of 2018.

Murat Ticaret which manufactures products for a large range of vehicles in the automotive industry, employs 2,200 people worldwide.
