Successful meeting with World Bank representatives
Director Goce Dimovski today held a successful meeting with representatives of the World Bank, led by Mauro Testaverde, Senior Economist. The meeting discussed economic cooperation, which will contribute to the growth and development of the zones, as well as possible future projects that will additionally have a positive impact on the overall national economy.
Director Dimovski highlighted the key role of the World Bank as one of the most important international partners in the process of improving the business climate and conditions in the zones. He emphasized that this cooperation opens up a wide range of opportunities for supporting new investment projects, opening up new opportunities for sustainable development and improving the competitiveness of the Macedonian economy.
The representatives emphasized the World Bank’s readiness to provide appropriate support in order to increase Macedonia’s competitiveness as a location for foreign investors. They indicated that the World Bank is a strong supporter of the country in implementing a number of significant reforms and projects that will contribute to even more favorable investment conditions.
The Directorate for TIDZ as an institution remains committed to building stable partnerships with all stakeholders, and especially with international institutions that have a strong influence on the economic growth and development of Macedonia.
