Meeting with the Mayor of Podujevo, Shpejtim Buliqi

Director Goce Dimovski met today with Shpejtim Buliqi, Mayor of Podujevo, Kosovo. During the meeting, the organization and setup of the TIDZ was discussed, as an institution recognized in the region for its efficiency, transparency and support for investors, and the opportunities for potential new projects were also reviewed.

Dimovski highlighted the benefits offered by the zones, in terms of organization, customs exemptions, as well as the support that investors receive through various state instruments. He pointed out that a stable and predictable business climate is offered, which is an important factor for every investor.

Mayor Buliqi expressed particular interest in the overall functionality of the zones, emphasizing the importance of cooperation and exchange of real experiences, all with the aim of greater regional economic growth.

Such meetings are part of TIDZ’s strategic approach to strengthening economic connectivity, with the aim of increasing the investment potential of the entire region. This meeting follows several meetings with similar content, held with the mayor of Koper, Slovenia, as well as representatives of Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
