Cagatay Cablo with a new factory in TIDZ Skopje
The Director of TIDZ, Goce Dimovski, today, together with Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, attended the official marking of the beginning of construction works on the second factory of the Turkish company Çağatay Cablo. It is a facility twice as large as the existing factory where wires and cables for the automotive industry intended for the European market will be produced.
The new investment amounts to 6 million euros, with a planned facility of 10,000 square meters, with 200 new jobs. Dimovski pointed out in his address that this is not only a recognition of the economic policies being implemented, but also a confirmation of the increased trust of foreign investors in this government.
“Today, we are not only celebrating the trust that the company has once again shown in our country, but we are also strengthening a partnership that is based on hard work and a shared vision for economic progress. I am particularly pleased that the plans for this investment project were presented a few weeks after the formation of this government, and its implementation begins today,” said Dimovski.
Prime Minister Mickoski emphasized that every such project is good for the local community, good for the national economy, and good for the future of every young person who wants to stay here.
“Our goal is to make Macedonia a country of opportunities. A country where hard work pays off. A country where investment makes sense. A country where institutions are partners to business – not an obstacle, but a support. That is why, from this place, I would like to express my gratitude to the director of the Directorate for Technological Industrial Development Zones, Goce Dimovski. With his energy and vision, new doors are opened, new conversations are held and new opportunities are created for foreign and domestic investors. The results we have achieved show that as a government we have a clear economic direction,” he said.
