New potential investment of the Swiss company Baumer, successful meeting with the management of the factory in Skopje
Director Goce Dimovski today had a meeting with the management of the Baumer factory operating within the TIDZ Skopje 1. The meeting discussed the factory’s activities to date, as well as plans for the future and the potential new investment, after which a tour of the production facility was conducted.
Dimovski emphasized that the TIDZ Directorate supports every new investment that will bring greater economic growth to the country and create new jobs.
“As an institution, we are actively working for even greater development of existing companies within the zones, but also for new potential investments that will additionally have a positive impact on the national economy. This Government, from the very beginning, has set economic growth, new investments and new jobs as its main goals, and with the results achieved so far after more than a year, I believe that we can do even more.”
The management of Baumer, which operates within the framework of TIDZ Skopje 1, expressed satisfaction with the cooperation so far, and presented plans for the future.
Sonja Stefanovska, director of the factory, pointed out that according to the results achieved by the company in the past period, there are opportunities for a potential increase in production capacities and the introduction of new technologies, which will also create new jobs.
The Swiss company Baumer produces advanced sensor technology, encoders, measuring instruments in the field of electronics. The company is present with 39 subsidiaries in 19 countries around the world, and has been present in Macedonia since 2019, when it officially opened its production capacity in TIDZ Skopje 1, where the research center is located, where engineers in the fields of electronics, information technology and mechanical technology work.
