Director Goce Dimovski presented the opportunities and mechanisms for supporting foreign investors to more than 50 Slovenian companies

As part of the online training “Invest, Collaborate, Grow: Your Guide to the Macedonian Market”, organized by the Association of Slovenian and Macedonian Businessmen, SIZ, Director Goce Dimovski successfully presented the opportunities and mechanisms for supporting foreign investors offered by the zones, i.e. Macedonia, to more than 50 Slovenian companies. Introductory speeches were given by Goran Križ, Minister Counselor, Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia, Matej Rogelj, from the Center for International Cooperation, Economic Chamber of Slovenia, as well as Vojdan Jordanov, President of the Board of Directors of the Association of Slovenian and Macedonian Businessmen and CEO of Triglav Insurance AD ​​Skopje.

Director Dimovski, in his presentation, pointed out the key opportunities offered by Macedonia and the TIDZ as an attractive location for foreign investors, as well as the stable business climate, adding that an increasing number of companies from various industries recognize the potential of the country. He also presented the specific tax and customs incentives, the infrastructure advantages of the zones, as well as the mechanisms for supporting investors.

“Our main goal is stable growth for all investors, and we are currently actively working on further improving the strategy for supporting and developing projects with high added value.”

The participants expressed particular interest in the opportunities offered by Macedonia, taking into account the advantages such as the stable macroeconomic environment, qualified workforce and favorable tax policy.

Offering specific guidelines, the main goal of the training was to offer practical advice on potential investments and increasing exports of Slovenian companies in Macedonia. Through interactive presentations and exchange of experiences, participants received practical advice on investment opportunities, increasing exports, and establishing business partnerships.
