Presented the study “Improving the Business Climate – Encouraging Investments”

Director Goce Dimovski today attended the presentation of the study “Improving the Business Climate – Boosting Investment”, commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economics and Energy. The event was opened by Antje Wandelt, Director of the German Chamber of Commerce (AHK), Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, Petra Drexler, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, and Riccardo Giucci, Head of the German Economic Team.

The study analyzed the current challenges and opportunities in the business environment and offered specific proposals for reforms in order to create a more attractive and predictable economic environment for domestic and foreign investors. The event emphasized that a stable and transparent regulatory framework, efficient administration and developed business infrastructure are key prerequisites for accelerated economic growth and the creation of new jobs.

During the event, Director Dimovski pointed out that cooperation with Germany through such projects is of great importance for increasing the competitiveness of the Macedonian economy. He highlighted the activities of the Directorate, aimed at improving the institutional framework and creating policies that will enable increased confidence of foreign investors.

The event provided a forum for constructive dialogue between institutions and the business community, during which several ministers, representatives of state bodies, chambers of commerce and companies exchanged experiences and proposals for improving the business climate. The focus was on measures to facilitate procedures, predictability of policies and additional support for companies investing in innovation, export and high added value.
