Meeting with Misty Rice, Executive Director of Government Affairs at Magna International
Director Dimovski today had a meeting with Misty Rice, Executive Director for Government Affairs of Magna International, a company that already has two factories in the country within the TIDZ Struga and TIDZ Shtip. The meeting discussed the company’s current activities on a global level, progress in Macedonia, as well as opportunities for new potential investments.
Dimovski emphasized the role of the TIDZ Directorate and the Government in creating a stable, predictable and competitive business environment for foreign investors, emphasizing that continuous dialogue with existing companies is key to long-term growth and expansion of investments. He emphasized that institutional support and coordination with other state bodies are the basis for maintaining trust among foreign investors. Emphasizing Magna’s factories operating within the zones as one of the more significant capacities, he indicated that the main goal is to provide conditions in which existing investors can successfully develop, improve their productivity and create added value for the national economy.
Misty Rice expressed satisfaction with the cooperation with the institutions so far and the company’s operational results in the country, emphasizing that Magna International is closely monitoring opportunities for further expansion of its activities, in line with the company’s global strategic priorities.
