Director Goce Dimovski as a lecturer at the 53rd UNCTAD Regional Course
As part of the 53rd Regional Course of the Faculty of Economics – Skopje and UNCTAD, dedicated to the main aspects of the international economic agenda, Director Goce Dimovski today held a lecture on the topic “Attracting FDI strategically – the case of North Macedonia” before several representatives of the public administration of the countries of the Eastern European region.
In his presentation, Dimovski presented Macedonia’s experiences in attracting foreign investments, the role of the TIDZ in creating a competitive and predictable business environment, as well as the mechanisms for institutional support offered to investors at all stages of the implementation of their projects. Special emphasis was placed on contemporary trends in global investment flows, challenges in conditions of change, as well as the need for sustainable policies that will contribute to attracting investments with higher added value, new technologies and quality jobs. Within the framework of the lecture, a constructive discussion was developed with the participants, during which experiences and views were exchanged on policies for attracting investments, the role of institutions in improving the business climate and opportunities for promoting regional cooperation in the field of economic development.
With the participation of Director Dimovski as a lecturer, the Directorate for TIDZ once again confirms its commitment to sharing experiences and good practices in the field of attracting foreign direct investments, as well as to strengthening cooperation with the academic community and international organizations. Such events represent a significant opportunity for knowledge exchange and contribute to promoting cooperation with the region and beyond.
