VDL Bus Macedonia will begin the third phase of the investment – production of a new bus model

Director Goce Dimovski today met with Avram Stojchevski, General Director of the company VDL Bus Macedonia. The meeting discussed the company’s current activities, the implementation of the third phase of the investment, which will amount to more than 5 million euros, with 150 new highly qualified jobs within the TIDZ Skopje 2.

Dimovski emphasized that the TIDZ Directorate remains a dedicated partner to companies that are already investing in the country, through timely institutional support and active monitoring of their needs. He emphasized that it is precisely the existing investors who represent the strongest indicator of the quality of the business environment, and their expansion is an important signal of confidence in the domestic economy.

The meeting reviewed the plan for the implementation of the third phase of the investment, which envisages the production of a new bus model. In addition, the commitment to continue constructive cooperation was confirmed, in order to create conditions for the successful implementation of this investment cycle, further development and strengthening the competitiveness of the domestic economy.

In April this year, the company changed its name from VDL Van Hool Macedonia to VDL Bus Macedonia, thus starting a new development phase in its operations. The change is part of the broader process of transformation and development of the company, with a focus on further improving its production activities and strengthening its position in the automotive industry.
