The director of TIDZ, Goce Dimovski held a successful meeting with Wabtec

In the direction of the new concept, and with the aim of supporting and improving the investment climate in Macedonia, today the director of TIDZ, Goce Dimovski, held a meeting with representatives of the Wabtec company. Current projects, as well as the new investment by the American company, were reviewed at the meeting.

Wabtek is a leading global supplier of equipment, systems, digital solutions and value-added services to the freight and transit rail sector and has more than 150 years of experience. The company produces parts for locomotives, freight cars, passenger vehicles and equipment for the production of electricity, and is also one of the largest exporters from Macedonia.

Director Dimovski emphasized the importance of continuous cooperation between government institutions and all existing and potential investors in the country.

“We are proud that a company like Wabtec, which has been working in Macedonia for a long time, has decided on a reinvestment that will significantly contribute to the economic grow

th and development of the country, creating new jobs. As an institution, we will continue to support the companies that invest in Macedonia, taking into account that they are key to ensuring a stable economy and progress of our country,” said Director Dimovski.

The representatives of Wabtec expressed particular satisfaction for the meeting, hoping for successful further cooperation.

This meeting is another confirmation of the commitment of the Directorate for TIDZ in providing support and creating conditions for the growth and development of companies, through the promotion of dialogue and cooperation with all stakeholders.
