Director Dimovski part of the first EU-Western Balkans Investment Forum held in Tirana
Director Goce Dimovski, as part of the government delegation led by the Minister of Economy and Labor, Besar Durmishi, accompanied by the Foreign Advisor to the Prime Minister, Vladimir Peshevski, today participated in the first EU-Western Balkans Investment Forum taking place in Tirana, Albania.
The event was opened by Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, and Edi Rama, Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania. As a strategic step towards the economic integration of the region with the European Union, the forum represents an opportunity to encourage foreign direct investment, foster innovation and accelerate economic convergence.
During the forum, Dimovski held several bilateral meetings with high-ranking representatives from neighboring countries and Europe, as well as with potential investors. He pointed out the investment model that Macedonia offers as an attractive destination for foreign companies, highlighting the continuous efforts of the Directorate and the Government for greater economic growth.
This first-of-its-kind investment forum is a strategic platform for strengthening economic cooperation, attracting foreign direct investment and accelerating the integration of the Western Balkan economies into the European single market, which will benefit the Western Balkan countries, EU member states and European companies.
