A visit was made to the production plant of Wabtec in Skopje, the new potential investor in TIDZ

Within the framework of the concept of continuous and direct cooperation with existing and potential investors, today the director of TIDZ, Goce Dimovski visited the production facility of Wabtec in Skopje, the new potential investor in TIDZ.

Wabtec is one of the largest exporters from Macedonia, i.e. a leading global supplier of equipment, systems, digital solutions and value-added services for the freight and transit railway sector and has more than 150 years of experience. The company manufactures parts for locomotives, freight cars, passenger vehicles and power generation equipment.

During the visit, Director Dimovski emphasized the importance of such strategic partnerships, which should be constantly upgraded.

“Considering that Wabtec is the new potential investor in TIDZ, we proudly and dedicatedly work to provide all the necessary support, building strategic partnerships. For us as an institution, it is of great importance to directly exchange information with the companies and consider their needs and challenges in order to provide them with the best conditions for work and further development,” said Director Dimovski.

Paolo Bosio, general director in Skopje, expressed satisfaction with the visit, which represents a step closer to strengthening cooperation, as well as realizing the company’s long-term investment plans in Macedonia.

“For us, as a company with a long history and global presence, support from institutions like TIDZ is key to our further expansion and success. Our decision about the potential investment in TIDZ, as part of the expansion at the global level, came precisely because of the attractiveness of Macedonia as a destination, but also because of the trust in the Macedonian government and institutions that are dedicatedly working to create a favourable investment climate,” said Paolo Bosio.
