Director Goce Dimovski, together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Timcho Mucunski, met with Caspar Veldkamp, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, in The Hague today, where the investment opportunities of the TIDZ were presented to representatives of the business community.
Within the framework of the meeting with Veldkamp, mutual satisfaction was expressed with the excellent bilateral cooperation, during which new opportunities for cooperation in the area of trade and attracting Dutch investments were also discussed.
With a focus on investments, the economy and bilateral cooperation, Dimovski successfully presented the investment potential of Macedonia, i.e. the TIDZ. He emphasized the competitive conditions for investment, including the favorable tax policy, the qualified workforce, as well as the overall support and transparency from the directorate, with the aim of greater success for investors.
The business community, led by Marc Hasselaar, Deputy Director of the Department of International Enterprises at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressed interest in the opportunities offered by the Technological Industrial Development Zones, especially in the context of their strategic position, access to regional markets and the readiness of institutions to support foreign investments. In this regard, specific opportunities for potential Dutch investments were also discussed, as well as for establishing joint projects and initiatives.
This visit to the Netherlands is part of the new concept that the Directorate for TIDZ has been actively implementing for a year now, with the aim of promoting Macedonia as an attractive, stable and competitive destination for foreign direct investments.
