Director Dimovski attended the event “Strengthening Institutional Capacity: Celebrating US-Macedonia Cooperation”

Director Goce Dimovski today attended the event “Strengthening Institutional Capacities: Celebrating Cooperation between the United States and Macedonia” organized by the Ministry of Finance. The event presented past and future joint activities between the Ministry of Finance and the United States Treasury, with an emphasis on strengthening institutions, increasing expertise, and creating modern systems. Opening remarks were given by the Deputy Prime Minister for Political System, Ljupcho Dimovski, the Minister of Finance, Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska, and the US Ambassador, Angela Ageler.

The event highlighted the importance of long-term and strategic cooperation between the two countries, which contributes to improving public finances, transparency, and accountability, as well as strengthening institutional stability in the country. Special emphasis was placed on the exchange of knowledge and good practices, as well as the role of expert support from the US Treasury in the development of modern and efficient management systems.

Director Dimovski expressed appreciation for the continued support from the United States, assessing that such partnerships are essential for improving the capacities of institutions and for creating a stable and predictable business climate. He pointed out that strengthening institutions is a key prerequisite for attracting quality foreign investments and sustainable economic growth, especially in the context of the functioning and development of TID zones.
