Meeting held with representatives of the organization Macedonia 2025 and the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD)
Director Goce Dimovski today held a meeting with representatives of the organization Macedonia 2025 and the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD). The meeting, which continues discussions initiated earlier this year, focused on opportunities to deepen cooperation and advance initiatives aimed at fostering economic development and attracting new investments.
Dimovski outlined the Directorate’s ongoing activities in attracting new foreign direct investments with high added value, as well as improving investment conditions within the zones. In this context, the importance of cooperation with relevant organizations such as Macedonia 2025 and the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) was emphasized, as they can contribute to better promotion of the country’s investment potential.
Representatives of Macedonia 2025 and the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) highlighted the importance of continuous and active cooperation, as well as the potential for joint activities aimed at conducting a functional analysis of the national migration system. The goal is to support increased engagement and investment from the diaspora, including the potential for return, reintegration, and improved circularity of capital and individuals, as identified as a priority under Pillar 5 of the forthcoming National Strategy for Cooperation with the Diaspora for the period 2025–2030.
