Meeting with Hyundai Corporation Holdings
The Director of the Directorate for Technological Industrial Development Zones, Goce Dimovski, today met with Sungwoo Hong, General Manager of the European Representative Office of the South Korean company Hyundai Corporation Holdings, as well as Ivan Petrovic, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Korea, and Dragan Ilievski, Financial Director of Fila Group. At the meeting, with the aim of reviewing investment opportunities within the TIDZ, the potential offered by the zones, the advantages, as well as the support mechanisms offered by the state for foreign investors, were discussed.
Dimovski highlighted the opportunities offered by the zones, pointing out that the main goal is to create an even more favorable investment climate, with investments that will bring high added value. He emphasized that the Directorate for TIDZ is fully committed to providing support to foreign investors through efficient administrative processes, a stable and predictable business environment, as well as facilitated access to modern infrastructure and a qualified workforce.
The representative of Hyundai Corporation Holdings, Sungwoo Hong, with expectations for further cooperation, expressed particular interest in Macedonia as a destination for potential expansion, indicating that the company is looking for locations that offer good infrastructure, qualified labor force and favorable conditions for expanding production capacities.

Thus, the company is actively promoting the value and recognition of the HYUNDAI brand on a global level. Today, the product portfolio includes home appliances, portable generators, household and industrial equipment, lighting and batteries, which represents significant potential for technological development and opportunities for cooperation.
