New potential investment by the German company Heidelberger Postpress within the TIDZ

Director Goce Dimovski met today with Matthias Laubenstein, Director of Heidelberg Postpress, a leading German technology company that has been committed to innovation, quality and reliability in mechanical engineering worldwide for 175 years. The meeting included a presentation of the opportunities and benefits offered by Macedonia through the zones, during which TIDZ Skopje and TIDZ Stip were considered as potential locations for the German company to open a new production facility.

Dimovski pointed out that the Directorate for TIDZ actively cooperates with all stakeholders in order to continuously improve the conditions in the zones, and the strategic location was emphasized, as well as the tax benefits available to investors. He added that the interest of such a renowned company is a strong confirmation of the attractiveness of Macedonia and TIDZ as a location for foreign direct investment. As Dimovski said, investing in advanced technologies and high added value is a priority, and cooperation with companies that have a long tradition and global presence will bring significant benefits to the entire economy.

Laubenstein expressed particular interest in investing within the zones, with the emphasis placed on TIDZ Skopje and TIDZ Stip as potential locations. He emphasized that a stable business environment, access to a qualified workforce, and clear and transparent support from institutions are key factors in their analysis for selecting a new location.
