Successful meeting with the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Vienna
Director Goce Dimovski today had a successful working meeting with Tatsuo Kamino, Director General of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Vienna. The meeting discussed the current cooperation, as well as the possibilities for its deepening, all with the aim of achieving new investments from Japanese companies.
Director Goce Dimovski emphasized the competitiveness of Macedonia, which offers favorable conditions for investment, given the stable economic climate, developed infrastructure and strategic location.
“Economic cooperation with Japan will bring new opportunities for additional development and innovation, of course with added value for the overall economy and improving the competitiveness of the Macedonian market. As an institution, in cooperation with the Government, we are working hard to improve the conditions that will directly affect the presence of Japanese companies in the future.” – Dimovski pointed out.
Tatsuo Kamino, Director General of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Vienna, expressed particular satisfaction with the meeting, with expectations for fruitful cooperation. He emphasized the importance of the partnership between the two countries, which will offer new opportunities for both parties.
„Many Japanese companies still don’t have enough information about the conditions offered by Macedonia, unfortunately. Therefore, our goal in relation to this cooperation is to positively influence this and improve the dissemination through cooperation with TIDZ.“ – emphasized Tatsuo Kamino.
Within the framework of the meeting, specific steps were also discussed to facilitate and increase the presence of Japanese companies in Macedonia, through the organization of various activities, seminars and business forums. This partnership is expected to bring new investments that will have added value, as well as increase the competitiveness of the country on the FDI map.
