TIDZ – EBRD: strategic cooperation to encourage the economic growth and development of Macedonia

Today, the Director of TIDZ, Goce Dimovski, held a meeting with the representatives from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Fatih Turkmenoglu, Head of EBRD North Macedonia and Vlado Bojadzievski, Associate Director, Senior Banker. At the meeting there was a discussion about the economic cooperation, with a focus on new potential investments that will further contribute to the development of the country.

During the meeting, Dimovski emphasized that TIDZ, in cooperation with the new Government, is actively working in attracting foreign investors, which will bring significant benefits to the Macedonian economy by creating new jobs and increasing the export.

“Each new investment confirms the strategic importance of North Macedonia as an attractive destination for business in the region. Cooperation with the EBRD is a key in the process of providing financial and consulting support for these projects, which have the potential to significantly contribute to the long-term economic growth,” said Dimovski.

The EBRD representatives expressed their satisfaction from the meeting and stated that they are looking forward to the further successful cooperation. They emphasized the importance from the held meeting and agreed further partnerships, highlighting the Bank’s readiness to support projects that will contribute to the country’s economic progress. EBRD also stressed the possibilities for the future projects that would facilitate access to the new investors, all for the purpose of creating more favourable climate for economic growth and stability.
