TIDZ – IFC: New Reforms for Attracting Foreign Investments

As part of the ongoing reforms aimed at attracting new foreign investments, the Director of TIDZ, Goce Dimovski, held a successful meeting with Igor Matijevic, Stefan Dragutinovic, Branko Dunjic, and Tanja Ilijevska, representatives of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group. The meeting focused on strengthening Macedonia’s economic growth and improving the investment climate. Discussions revolved around TIDZ’s new concept emphasizing continuous collaboration and reforms to facilitate foreign companies’ access to the Macedonian market.

Director Dimovski highlighted Macedonia’s potential as an attractive destination for foreign investors. Taking into account its strategic geographical position, stable macroeconomic policies, and investment regulatory reforms, he emphasized the country’s significant potential in attracting foreign investments. He further pointed out that infrastructure improvements and new models of financial support for investors enhance the country’s competitiveness.

The IFC representatives expressed great satisfaction with the existing cooperation, looking forward to further joint projects. They underscored the importance of partnerships between the public and private sectors, focusing on ensuring long-term stability as a key factor for sustainable development. Such collaboration is crucial for improving Macedonia’s economic growth and overall development.
