Meeting with the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA)
The Director of TIDZ, Goce Dimovski, held a successful meeting today with representatives of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) – the commercial section of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, based in Sofia, Bulgaria. In line with efforts to enhance economic cooperation between Macedonia and South Korea, the meeting focused on investment promotion and the opportunities offered by the Technological Industrial Development Zones as an investment destination.
“Cooperation with South Korea is essential for Macedonia’s further economic development, opening up new opportunities to increase trade exchange and create jobs in strategic sectors. We are actively working on new reforms that will provide foreign investors with easier and faster access to our economy,” emphasized Director Dimovski.
KOTRA representatives expressed their gratitude for the meeting, anticipating further successful collaboration and reaffirming their commitment to connecting Korea companies with the region.
“The conditions offered by Macedonia for foreign investors, especially through the Technological Industrial Development Zones, represent an excellent platform for Korea companies planning to expand their presence in the region. We expect stable and long-term cooperation that will bring mutual benefits,” said Rhee Dong-Hyun, General Director of KOTRA Sofia.

This meeting is part of the new TIDZ strategy focused on attracting new foreign direct investments and deepening economic relations with leading global economies.
