Director Goce Dimovski presented the opportunities offered by TIDZ at the foreign investment forum organized by the German-Macedonian Business Club in Berlin

Director Goce Dimovski presented the investment opportunities and benefits offered by the zones at the foreign investment forum held in Berlin, organized by the German-Macedonian Business Club (DNMBC) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade. Opening speeches were given by the President of the Business Club, Gafar Vejseli, the Minister of Economy and Labor, Besar Durmishi, the Minister of European Affairs, Orhan Murtezani, and Ilber Sela, Ambassador of Macedonia to Germany.

Dimovski pointed out the favorable business climate offered by the country, the infrastructure advantages, as well as the tax incentives for investors within the zones. The current activities of the Directorate were also presented, which are expected to further increase the interest of foreign companies and contribute to the faster implementation of the announced investment projects.

“Germany is one of our most important economic partners, and the interest we have seen in the past period shows that Macedonia is positioning itself as a safe and competitive investment destination. Our priority is to provide clear procedures, rapid institutional support and an environment that allows investors to reinvest, bringing added value to our country.” – Dimovski stressed.

The members of the German-Macedonian Business Club, representatives of several companies, expressed particular interest in potential cooperation, adding that a stable business climate and openness of institutions are of great importance for further investments.

With the aim of deepening economic cooperation between the two countries, the event served as a platform for networking, knowledge exchange and integration of new initiatives between Macedonian institutions and the German business community.
