On the occasion of two years of successful work of the Directorate for Technological Industrial Development Zones, today, Director Goce Dimovski and Minister Timcho Mucunski presented the key results and achievements, as well as the strategic priorities for the coming period.
Director Goce Dimovski highlighted the results achieved by the Directorate for Technological Industrial Development Zones, indicating that a serious approach and continuous work yield concrete and serious results.
“In the past two years, we have managed to build an institution that operates on the principles of accountability, professionalism and responsible management. Confirmation of this is the latest report of the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption for 2025, according to which the Directorate for Technological Industrial Development Zones is assessed with 85 percent compliance with the standards for the implementation of the integrity system, which positioned us in a high 2nd place, among the best ranked state institutions in the country.” – he stated.
Dimovski pointed out in his address that in addition to institutional strengthening, significant progress has been achieved in attracting new investments with high added value, modern technologies and numerous development opportunities.
“During these two years, new investment cycles worth 300 million euros were launched and implemented, which will create over 3,000 jobs and significantly increase exports from the country. This is confirmation that trust in the country, in institutions and in economic policies is growing. In addition, three multinational companies have already made an internal decision for new investments within the TID zones. According to their business plans, the total value of these investments (including all phases together) is expected to reach 200 million euros and should create 1,500 new jobs.” – he added.
