New investment worth more than 30 million euros in TIDZ Prilep, Gentherm begins expansion process

Director Goce Dimovski, together with Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, today officially announced the new investment of the American company Gentherm, which will invest over 30 million euros and open 300 new jobs in TIDZ Prilep.

“We are talking about highly integrated systems for the automotive industry – with new technological equipment, automated lines and modern production. With this, we become a regional hub for Gentherm for Europe.

I would like to publicly express my sincere gratitude to the Director of the Directorate for Technological and Industrial Development Zones, Goce Dimovski, for his dedication, coordination and strong support throughout the entire investment process. With such projects, industrial production grows, new jobs are created, exports increase, and with it – trust in our economy grows, the value of Macedonian knowledge, skills and labor grows.” – said Prime Minister Mickoski.

Director Dimovski expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Timcho Mucunski, emphasizing the joint commitment of the entire government to achieving greater economic growth.

“According to the business plan received from the Gentherm company, this is a company that has high-tech production with serious added value that will certainly improve productivity in the industry and increase exports from Macedonia. This is one of those announced, agreed investments in Macedonia.” – stated Director Goce Dimovski.

This is another proof of the success of the Directorate for TIDZ as an institution that works hard for the growth of the entire national economy. Gentherm’s investment confirms that Macedonia is becoming a safe destination for long-term, strategic and technologically advanced investments.
