New potential investment in Macedonia

Director Dimovski, as part of the government delegation during his visit to Turkey, had a productive meeting today with Kemal Amanoel, General Manager of the company Cavo Otomotiv, following up on the meeting held in March this year.

The multinational corporation Cavo Otomotiv expressed serious readiness to invest in a new factory in the TIDZ Skopje in the amount of 25 million euros, where there will be 500 new jobs.

Director Dimovski pointed out the significance of the investment by Cavo Otomotiv, taking into account that Turkish investments in the zones are continuously growing. At the same time, the efforts and dedication of the TIDZ Directorate were highlighted as an institution that actively works to improve investment conditions in cooperation with the Government and all stakeholders.

Founded in 1984, Cavo is a multinational corporation operating in the automotive equipment industry, designing and manufacturing safety products, as well as various mechanisms and operating cables for many leading car manufacturers. In addition to Turkey, the company is currently present in Canada, Germany and Slovakia, and the potential investment within the TIDZ will be of key importance for both Macedonia and Europe.
