Director Dimovski met with representatives of the EBRD and Finance Think
In line with the activities to promote the competitiveness of the economy, Director Goce Dimovski held a working meeting with Maja Stolevska Kostadinova, part of the EBRD project team, and Blagica Petreski, Executive Director of Finance Think. The meeting aimed to define additional measures to increase Macedonia’s competitiveness (Competitiveness Policy Priorities – CPP), within the framework of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development project – “CPPs in the Western Balkans”.
The meeting reviewed the results of the first phase of the project so far, and it was concluded that some of the proposed measures are already in the implementation phase, in accordance with their relevance and institutional readiness.
Director Dimovski stressed the importance of continuous cooperation with relevant partners, in order to create effective and sustainable policies that will contribute to increasing competitiveness, attracting investments and accelerating economic growth.
At the same time, the focus was placed on updating the remaining measures that were not included in the initial cycle, with the aim of their further improvement and consideration for implementation in the next period. In this regard, it was emphasized that the annual cycles of revision of the CPP measures enable a flexible and strategic approach to policymaking, aligned with current economic trends and the priorities of the Government.
