Director Goce Dimovski part of the 28th Eurasian Economic Summit in Istanbul
Director Goce Dimovski, as part of the government delegation led by the Minister of Finance, Gordana Dimitrieska Kocoska, together with Viktorija Trajkov, Deputy Minister for European Affairs, today attended the 28th Eurasian Economic Summit, in Istanbul, Turkey, organized by the Foundation for Strategic and Social Research – Marmara Group.
In his address to the panel on the topic “Ecology, Economy, Energy and Artificial Intelligence”, Dimovski pointed out that sustainable development is not just a choice, but a necessity.
“The technological-industrial development zones in Macedonia are set as an example for integrating environmental standards into industrial development. By focusing on light, non-polluting industry and modern logistics, we have created conditions for production that minimizes negative impacts on the environment and enables a quality life for local communities.” – stated Dimovski.
He highlighted fiscal and customs incentives, tax exemptions and support for new jobs, which directly affect the attraction of the most innovative domestic and foreign investors.
“Only through partnerships, knowledge exchange and innovation we can build economies that are resilient, inclusive and sustainable. Macedonia remains committed to European values, the green transition and the digital transformation – together with you, our friends and partners from the Eurasian region,” said Dimovski.
At the same time, Director Dimovski held successful meetings with numerous high-ranking representatives and potential investors within the framework of the summit, during which opportunities for potential investments and strengthening economic relations were discussed.
The goal of this summit is to bring together businessmen, politicians and academics from different countries, which will influence the strengthening of cooperation in the areas of economy, democracy and security.
The participation of Macedonia and the Directorate for TIDZ as an institution at this summit is a confirmation of the successful cooperation with Turkey, with efforts to continuously improve economic and investment relations between the two countries.
