New investment by Cagatay Cablo worth 6 million euros, 200 new jobs announced
The Turkish company Cagatay Cablo, which has been operating within the TIDZ Skopje 1 for a long time, will invest 6 million euros in expanding its production by building a new facility of about 10,000 square meters, which will bring 200 new jobs.
This new factory, which will be twice the size of the existing one, will not only create new jobs, but will also bring new technologies, which is actually due to the improved approach of the new government.
The Director, Goce Dimovski, visited the company in Istanbul today and met with Ahmet Semsetin Koroglu, Chairman of the Board. He pointed out that this investment, which was announced in July last year, is proof of the trust of foreign investors in the stable economic climate and the support offered by the state. He emphasized that as an institution in cooperation with the Government, the Directorate for TIDZ will continue to provide active and transparent support to all foreign investors.
The management expressed gratitude for the support from the Directorate, as one of the key factors for the expansion of this investment that will bring added value to the national economy.
After the announced expansion in July last year, this second phase of investment by Cagatay Cablo means much greater confidence in the government and the system, which according to them is working very well.
Otherwise, Cagatay Cablo produces wires and cables for the automotive industry. They supply leading manufacturers of buses, tractors, construction machinery, trucks, commercial vehicles, air conditioners, cleaning machines and special airport vehicles.
