TIDZ – THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF EXPORTS OF 3.5 BILLION EUROS AND 2300 NEW JOBS SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR

Over 2300 new jobs have been opened in the companies in TIDZ since the beginning of the year so far. The number of employees as of November rose to 16,300, which is an increase of 17% in just one year, it shows. Almost 300 new jobs were created in November alone.

The positive growth trend since the beginning of the year continues in terms of exports and imports. As of November, exports from TIDZ reached almost 3.5 billion euros, which is the highest level since the existence of the zones. The analysis shows that exports from January to November of this year are 27% higher than the same period in 2021, that is, 49% higher compared to 2020. Companies in the zones ended 2021 with exports of 3 billion euros in one year, which was a record level so far.

From January to November this year, imports of 3.09 billion euros were registered, which is 17% more compared to the first eleven months of 2021, i.e. 60% compared to the same period in 2020. As of November, the growth of net exports continues, which reached 12.3%. Only in November the net export is almost 23%, which is due, among other things, to the increased investment activities in the Zones and the increased number of jobs.

It is expected that this positive trend of economic activities in the Zones will continue until the end of the year.
